When zero is the lie

I recently explored how some charts can mislead by cutting off the bottom of the axis, which can distort the truth. The PISA article in De Standaard caught my attention, especially its alarming portrayal of Flanders' educational performance. It turns out that while some charts were accurate, others manipulated perceptions by not starting at zero. This raises important questions about how we interpret data and the responsibility of media to present it honestly.
