I am genuinely thrilled to see some positive movement on the international stage today. It looks like Belgium and Rwanda have officially decided to restore their diplomatic relations, which is just fantastic news for everyone involved. Our foreign minister, Mr. Prévot, mentioned that this is the result of some very honest and respectful discussions with his counterpart. And here is the thing - even though they still have some differences to work through, they have agreed to keep talking systematically. It really shows that open dialogue is the best way forward for us all.Ik ben oprecht enthousiast om vandaag wat positieve vooruitgang op het internationale toneel te zien. Het lijkt erop dat België en Rwanda officieel hebben besloten hun diplomatieke betrekkingen te herstellen, wat gewoon fantastisch nieuws is voor alle betrokkenen. Onze minister van Buitenlandse Zaken, de heer Prévot, vertelde dat dit het resultaat is van zeer eerlijke en respectvolle gesprekken met zijn ambtgenoot. En hier komt het - ook al hebben ze nog wat meningsverschillen om uit te praten, ze hebben afgesproken om systematisch in gesprek te blijven. Het laat echt zien dat een open dialoog de beste weg vooruit is voor ons allemaal.Je suis vraiment ravi de voir une telle avancée positive sur la scène internationale aujourd'hui. Il semble que la Belgique et le Rwanda aient officiellement décidé de rétablir leurs relations diplomatiques, ce qui est une excellente nouvelle pour tout le monde. Notre ministre des Affaires étrangères, M. Prévot, a expliqué que c'est l'aboutissement de discussions très franches et respectueuses avec son homologue. Et voici le point important - même s'ils ont encore des divergences à surmonter, ils ont convenu de continuer à dialoguer systématiquement. Cela prouve vraiment qu'un dialogue ouvert est la meilleure voie à suivre pour nous tous.
