Now, here's a remarkable way to give a work of art room to breathe: a new concrete pavilion in Künzelsau, Germany, is devoted entirely to Anselm Kiefer's painting "Schwarze Flocken." Measuring 11 metres high and 7.1 metres wide, the mixed-media work is the largest Kiefer painting in the Carmen Würth Forum collection. David Chipperfield Architects designed the building in close collaboration with Kiefer, who helped shape its proportions, windows and interior. And here's the thing: the artwork's monumental scale inspired a striking brutalist home made just for it.Een bijzondere manier om een kunstwerk alle ruimte te geven: een nieuw betonnen paviljoen in het Duitse Künzelsau is volledig gewijd aan Anselm Kiefers schilderij "Schwarze Flocken".
