Disney adds signs to its songs to reach deaf audiences

For Deaf History Month, they’ve chosen three beloved tracks from films like Encanto and Frozen 2, bringing a new level of accessibility to their music. Instead of just adding a translator, they've created entirely new sequences that showcase the characters signing. This project, led by filmmaker Hyrum Osmond, highlights the beauty of sign language and aims to reflect the diversity within the signing community.
