Physicists harness sunlight for quantum entanglement

This breakthrough, led by teams from the University of Ottawa and the Max Planck Institute, shows that we can generate quantum entanglement without the need for expensive lasers. By focusing sunlight onto a special crystal, they achieved a remarkable 94 percent fidelity in entanglement.
