Estrogen-only hormone therapy could lower risk of Alzheimer’s

So, it turns out that estrogen-only hormone therapy might have a positive impact on reducing the risk of Alzheimer's disease, particularly for women. Research shows that women who underwent this therapy during menopause displayed fewer signs of cognitive decline and memory loss. Interestingly, their brain donations revealed fewer Alzheimer-related markers, which is quite promising! However, it's important to note that this study doesn't definitively prove that estrogen prevents dementia, and more research is needed to explore this connection further.
