In 2014, Caron Rawnsley arrived in Jodhpur to explore his mother's childhood memories, but he found a deeper purpose. He discovered neglected stepwells filled with waste and decided to take action, cleaning them himself despite the scorching heat. Over the years, he revived 10 historic water structures, earning the nickname 'Jodhpur’s Aquaman'. His efforts have not only restored these vital water sources but also highlighted their importance in the city’s heritage.
