In eastern Germany, water and people have created unique landscapes

So, just south of Berlin, the Spree River has carved out two fascinating landscapes filled with water. One area features a network of marshes, lakes, and historic canals, which is just stunning to explore. The other showcases Europe’s largest artificial lake landscape, created from old brown coal mines. It's amazing how nature and human ingenuity come together to create such beauty!
