Seeing through murky waters

So, researchers at the Woods Hole Oceanographic Institution have developed a fantastic new system to help underwater vehicles see better in murky waters. By using sonar to map their surroundings before getting closer, these vehicles can avoid kicking up too much sediment. This means cameras can capture clearer images of objects on the seafloor. It’s a game changer for underwater exploration and could even help with construction and mine handling!
