I am absolutely thrilled to share some wonderful news from Kuno National Park! The cheetah KGP12, who was born in India herself, has just welcomed four healthy cubs into the world. It is such a resilient story because she sadly lost her first litter earlier this year, but now she is a mother once again. This brings the total cheetah population in India to 56, which is a massive milestone for the conservation programme. And here is the thing - seeing this new generation thrive really shows that the project is moving in the right direction.Ik ben ontzettend enthousiast om dit prachtige nieuws uit Kuno National Park met jullie te delen! De cheeta KGP12, die zelf in India is geboren, heeft zojuist vier gezonde welpen ter wereld gebracht. Het is zo'n veerkrachtig verhaal, want ze verloor eerder dit jaar helaas haar eerste nestje, maar nu is ze opnieuw moeder geworden. Dit brengt de totale cheetapopulatie in India op 56, wat een enorme mijlpaal is voor het natuurbehoud.
