UN launches global grids accelerator to boost clean energy in Africa and South-East Asia

I’m really excited about the new Global Grids Accelerator launched by UN Secretary-General António Guterres. So: it’s designed to speed up investments in electricity infrastructure across Africa and South-East Asia, helping governments turn plans into real projects. Now, the challenge is that renewable energy is growing fast, but the grids to carry that power aren’t keeping up. This initiative will bring together expertise, finance, and support to strengthen grids, expand access, and power growth in developing countries.
