How a collective is reviving traditional beekeeping

So, in Himachal Pradesh, Tenacious Bee Collective is bringing traditional beekeeping back to life while creating new opportunities for rural communities. Since 2018, the group has trained more than 250 farmers, most of them women, in bee-friendly practices that protect native species and their habitats. Its network includes over 45 beekeepers, and local women also make beeswax products such as lip balms and candles to sell across India. By leaving most of the honey for the bees and putting community knowledge at the heart of its work, the collective is showing how healthy ecosystems and rural livelihoods can thrive together.
