A big milestone for clean energy: Baltic Power has installed all 76 of its offshore wind turbines in the Baltic Sea. The project, owned by Orlen and Canada’s Northland Power, is now connecting the turbines to Poland’s electricity system one by one. I’m excited to see what comes next: the wind farm is expected to reach full capacity by the end of the year and produce up to 4 TWh annually. That would cover around 3% of Poland’s current electricity demand and help build a new sector for the country.
