Vaccines generated over US$30 billion in benefits for lower-income countries in 2025

So: Gavi-supported vaccination programmes generated more than US$30 billion in economic benefits for lower-income countries in 2025, a record for the Alliance. Those gains came from preventing illness and deaths, reducing healthcare costs and helping children grow into healthier, more productive adults. Countries also contributed a record US$301 million towards vaccine costs, showing their growing commitment to immunisation. And here's the thing: these programmes vaccinated over 73 million children and helped prevent more than 2.2 million future deaths in 2025.
