Nearly two million people in Denmark have actively recorded whether they wish to donate one or more organs - a sharp increase over the past two years. New rules automatically register adults as potential donors, but people still need to confirm their choice to become active donors. Among those who have made a decision, 66 percent have given full consent, while 16 percent have given partial consent and 14 percent have said no. And here's the thing: organ donations are also rising, with 455 patients receiving a new organ last year, compared with 338 in 2022.Bijna twee miljoen mensen in Denemarken hebben actief vastgelegd of ze één of meer organen willen doneren - een flinke stijging in de afgelopen twee jaar.
