Free chickenpox vaccine for children

Starting next year, the chickenpox vaccine will be included in the public vaccination program in Sweden, and it's going to be free for all children who haven't had chickenpox yet. This is such great news because chickenpox can be a really painful illness, and it often means a lot of time off work for parents. The vaccine will be given in two doses, with the first at 18 months and the second at 7-8 years. Plus, this initiative aims to reduce antibiotic resistance by preventing infections that can arise from chickenpox. It's a big step forward for children's health!
