Novo teams up with Anthropic to speed up new medicine development

The collaboration will focus on using Anthropic's Claude Science language model to tackle key challenges in pharmaceutical research. CEO Mike Doustdar sees this partnership as proof of Novo's ambition to become the world's most AI-driven healthcare company, complementing their existing work with OpenAI and Amazon. The company plans to test Claude Science in specific workflows within their research and development operations, aiming to significantly reduce the time it takes to bring new medicines to market.
