So, I have some truly wonderful news coming out of Indonesia today. The government has officially decided to end elephant rides across the country, which is just such a massive win for animal welfare. It is really heartening to see these majestic creatures finally being allowed to just be themselves, socialize, and roam freely instead of carrying tourists. And here's the thing, this shift towards responsible tourism is exactly what we need more of in our travels. I am honestly so thrilled to see the industry moving towards observation rather than exploitation.Ik heb echt fantastisch nieuws uit Indonesië voor jullie. En weet je, deze verschuiving naar verantwoord toerisme is precies wat we nodig hebben tijdens onze reizen.
