NASA astronauts splash down after 100 million miles in space

After 237 days aboard the International Space Station, four Crew-12 astronauts have safely splashed down in the Pacific Ocean near Los Angeles. So, Jessica Meir, Jack Hathaway, Sophie Adenot, and Andrey Fedyaev return with more than 100 million miles traveled and thousands of Earth orbits behind them. Their research included producing stem cells and IV fluids in space, as well as studying how spaceflight affects health. These experiments could help keep crews safe on future journeys to the Moon and Mars, while also offering insights that benefit life on Earth.
